Book a groomHow long does a grooming appointment take?
Most grooms run between 45 minutes and two hours depending on your pet’s size, coat, and the service booked. We never rush a nervous pet, so we build in breaks — we’ll always give you a realistic pick-up time when you drop off.
Do you groom cats and anxious pets?
Absolutely. Daniel is our cat and anxious-pet specialist and works in a quiet, low-stimulation room. For very nervous animals we offer shorter “happy visits” first, so they can meet us with no pressure before a full groom.
What vaccinations do you require?
For everyone’s safety we ask that dogs are up to date on rabies and DHPP, and cats on rabies and FVRCP. Just bring a record or have your vet’s details handy on your first visit and we’ll keep it on file.
What if my dog’s coat is badly matted?
We never brush out painful mats — it hurts. Our humane policy is to clip tight matting short and let the coat regrow healthily. Heavy de-matting adds time and a small fee, and we’ll always talk you through the plan before we start.
Can I request the same groomer each time?
Yes, and we encourage it — familiarity keeps pets relaxed. Just pick your groomer when you book online, or note the request and we’ll match you every time their schedule allows.
How do I pay, and what’s your cancellation policy?
We take card, contactless, and cash at pick-up — no deposit needed for standard grooms. We just ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule so we can offer the slot to another pet.
